The holiday add-on allows you to create custom holiday types like unpaid leave, maternity leave or any other type you may need. This guide will show you how to assign holiday time for staff members to an existing holiday type.

How Do I Set Staff Member's Annual Leave Entitlement
Page Glossary (A list of all fields with descriptions)
- Click on Admin > Absence > Holiday > Staff Holiday Entitlement
- Set Staff to the name of the staff member that you need to give entitlement to
- Click Edit on the type of leave for which entitlement is to be allocated
- Enter the number of days entitlement to the nearest half day (0.5)
- Click Update
- Click Save
Page Glossary
Year
This drop-down allows you to select the holiday year you would like to set staff holiday entitlements for.
Department
This field filters the list of staff members on the right to a single department.
Staff
This field lets you select a single person to set a holiday entitlement for. If this field is set to <All> then the entitlement you set will be for all staff. The <All> entitlement will be superseded by an entitlement set at the staff level.
Holiday Type
Shows the name of the holiday type this row will add entitlement for.
Days
This field set the number of days of entitlement that will be available for this holiday type.
Updated By
This field shows who last updated this entitlement
On
This field shows when this entitlement was last updated
